Wireless Bluetooth communication
Tools with Bluetooth communication can be integrated with the customer's existing data acquisition systems. Measurement data — torque values, angular displacement, number of repetitions, etc. — can be automatically sent from the system to the tool without any additional configuration or the need for the operator to enter any settings. All data is also automatically transferred from the tool to the archiving system.
Batch Capture – software produced by BMS Ireland, supplied with every tool

Reliable data transmission up to approx. 12 metres from the Bluetooth Receiver (signal reception base)
Ability to communicate simultaneously between several tools and a single Bluetooth Receiver base
Working with the "Batch Capture" software
The controller can activate settings previously stored in the wrench's memory or enter new ones and send them to the wrench
Settings can be configured for the torque value alone, or for both torque and angular displacement
Settings are sent to the wrench
Settings can apply to a single measurement, a measurement repeated a specified number of times, or a sequence of measurements
The software allows real-time process control and remote supervision of the wrench operator — e.g. a message on the wrench display will inform the operator that a measurement needs to be repeated if it does not meet the assigned specifications; however, if necessary, such a measurement can also be accepted by the supervising manager or an authorised person
The software makes it possible to send a message to the wrench requesting the measurement to be repeated, or to block the next stage of the process
Data can be archived in a file format or printed
