BSC-B Electronic Torque Wrenches – ideal for bicycle workshops
The BSC-B series torque wrenches are electronic measuring tools offered by PolTorque, designed for precise bolt tightening in bicycle, e-bike and MTB workshops. The compact design and short interchangeable head make the wrench ideal wherever working space is limited and high accuracy is required.
The BSC02020B (1–20 Nm) and BSC03060B (3–60 Nm) models are dedicated for bicycle and motorcycle workshops – covering the majority of typical tightening torques used by manufacturers. They perform well when servicing standard bicycles and e-bikes, where mid-drive motors and battery mounts require higher torques.
The greatest advantage of this series is the ability to swap the tip for open-end or ring (9 x 12 mm) attachments, low weight, certification and a short arm.

Application in bicycle servicing
Modern bicycles – especially those with carbon frames or premium components – require strict adherence to the torque values specified by the manufacturer. Excessive torque can permanently damage an expensive component, while insufficient torque risks loosening during riding. The BSC-B wrenches eliminate this risk with an accuracy of ±2% (clockwise) and ±3% (counter-clockwise).
The 9×12 mm tip adapter allows the use of ratchets as well as open-end and ring attachments, so a single wrench covers the entire service – from the stem and headset, through the seatpost clamp and bottom bracket, to carbon bolts requiring low torques (3–10 Nm).
Two operating modes
The wrench offers two operating modes:
- Track – real-time torque measurement, ideal for tightening carbon components with full control
- Peak – records the highest torque reached, useful for verifying and documenting service work
Memory and signalling
The wrench stores the last 500 measurement results in its internal memory. Built-in audible and visual signals notify the mechanic when the preset torque has been reached – no need to look away from the bicycle during work. The target torque is set quickly and precisely using the keypad.
Certificates and service
Every wrench is supplied with an ISO 6789 certificate. Upon special request, PCA-accredited certification is available. PolTorque provides full warranty and post-warranty service for all offered models.
